Frequently Asked Questions

Is this scan to pdf really free?

Yes, completely free with no hidden costs, no signup required, and no file size limits. Picxor runs entirely in your browser.

Does Picxor upload my files to a server?

No. Picxor processes all files entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Your files never leave your device and are never uploaded to any server.

Does this tool apply perspective correction?

Yes, the tool attempts basic auto-enhancement and contrast boosting to mimic a physical scanner. Currently, manual multi-point perspective cropping is something you'd align prior to uploading, though we plan to add it directly in-browser.

Can I add multiple pages to my scan?

Absolutely. You can take multiple photos using your webcam or phone camera, or select multiple image files. They will be appended as separate pages into the final PDF document in the order you captured them.

Is there a file size limit?

Picxor can handle files up to 100MB. Very large files may take longer as processing happens in your browser. For files over 50MB, closing other browser tabs helps.
